Date of Ride: Saturday 30th June 2018

A 125km cycling event starting from Rayment Cycles Brighton, raising funds for the ‘Treehouse Project’, to build an outside space for the profoundly disabled patients at Holy Cross Hospital in Haslemere.

Event details

The ride starts at our sponsor Rayment Cycles* for breakfast, registration and last minute bike fettling.

Riders will head off in small groups via Ditchling Beacon for stunning views across the Downs and the Weald. Then weave the quiet roads and country lanes of Sussex and on to the village of Capel, in the Mole Valley.

The mid-way stop is the stuff of legends… homemade cakes, scones and sandwiches put on by Capel village church. A total cake-fest.

Then back through little lanes and up over Devil’s Dyke to finish where beers and a BBQ await you on Hove beach.

A great day out cycling the quieter, lesser known roads around sunny Sussex, fuelled by cake, tea and rewarded with beer and BBQ joy! And all in the name of a very good cause, come join the fun!

*Any purchases made on day will have a 10% discount, plus 10% donated to the Treehouse Project (thankyou Rayments!)

How to Enter!

We have two entry routes, one for people who are willing to raise money for the Treehouse Project and one for those who would prefer to simply pay an entry fee.

Step 1

Every rider must complete an entry form – the link for this is below.

Click here to fill in the entry form

Step 2

a) Riders willing to raise money for the Treehouse Project should start their own support campaign on the main Treehouse Project website below:

Starting your own support campaign is simple – click the ‘Create Support Campaign’ tab which is in orange font on the top right of the Treehouse Project homepage and follow the instructions.

If you have any problems with this then please do email ana.fitzsimons@gmail.com for support.

Riders who raise a mere £50 in sponsorship will ride with us for free – yep that’s right – nada, zilch. Top fundraisers will be rewarded with as much beer as you can safely drink when you get back to Brighton!

b) Riders who would prefer to simply pay an entry fee should utilise the Paypal option below. Entry is a minimum of £30, but we would really appreciate a donation if you can afford it.
